REMOVE THE AIR
Press the middle of the lid firmly to remove air. This is key to creating a vacuum, airtight seal.
Seal the edges
Once you've removed the air, press down the edges to ensure an airtight seal.
For an Airtight lid
The silicone lid should bit slightly dipped as shown here. If not, simply repeat the process.
