Yes. Thanks to the vacuum seal lid, providing the lid is secured on properly it can hold water too.
The silicone lid works by placing the lid onto the bowl, pressing the icon in the centre to remove the air before sealing the edges. This creates a airtight vacuum which keep food fresh and smells away.
