Our founder Mark had the exact same thought. His dachshund, a proud member of the “blink-and-it’s-gone” eating club, needed a smarter solution. Mark wanted to keep using his Lid-it bowls, but also make mealtimes healthier and more relaxed. That’s how our slow feeder inserts were born — a simple, travel-friendly solution to fast eating and tummy troubles, designed to fit perfectly inside our bestselling bowls.

Thanks to the secure suction base, the insert stays put while your pet eats...so even the most enthusiastic pups struggle to dislodge it. When mealtime’s over, remove excess food and simply lift the tab underneath to break the seal and release the suction cup. For hygiene purposes, you can use a non-metallic utensil or teaspoon to do this, but we have a full guide to help here.
